Asylum Seekers and Mount Sinai College

Mount Sinai College donated their used iPads to the Asylum Seekers when they replaced theirs in mid 2017. The iPads are being used for the asylum seekers to connect to their families abroad. Frances Rush, the CEO of Asylum Seekers Centre, attended a Mount Sinai assembly to accept this meaningful donation. The assembly item was presented by the year 3’s, it was priceless, applicable to the donation and Frances was honoured to be a part of the whole assembly. She cannot thank us enough for coordinating the collection of the 30 iPads. Patrick, their IT Manager, was delighted with their pristine condition and commented that the children are obviously very well brought up to have looked after them so well!
Edxchange is about connecting communities and we are thrilled to have connected Mount Sinai College and the Asylum Seekers. If you or anyone you know have tablets or laptops in good condition, please contact Shirley at Edxchange so that we can deliver them to the people who need them the most.
